All products sold on our listings are brand new; we DO NOT sell used or refurbished items unless stated. All the products conform to relevant European Safety standards and suitable for children to play with, with the age group stated. Please be aware that due to continuous stock change we reserve the right to change product details such as the colour and other minor details without your prior knowledge.
Warranty & Return Policy details
Returns Policy:
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 days of it being placed or seven days after receipt of the goods. 7 Days Cooling off period starts from the day after the goods are delivered. If you do cancel your order with us then you will have your payment returned promptly. This does not affect your statuary rights.
All items sold on our website carry 6 Months return to base warranty unless otherwise stated. Any damages or missing parts should be reported within 7 days of the customer receiving the item. No exceptions will be allowed and the management of Toys2Ride reserve the right to withdraw this warranty at any given time.
In the event of an item being faulty or damaged when delivered, Toys2Ride will aim to repair the product by sending replacement parts out to the customers address as soon as possible. If the item develop faults within 28 days of recieving, we will undertake the carriage costs incurred to get the item back to our warehouse for repair or replacment. After this period the customer will be liabale to send the car back to our warehouse for repair or replacment. There will also be customer's responsibility to package the item back to either in its orignial packaging or adaquate packaging. We will aim to get the item repaired and back to you within 28 working days and if this does not happen we will replace the item. Where a replacement is not available a full refund will be offered at the manager’s discretion. If the customer would opt to have a refund without replacment or repair then it is a customer's responsiblity to send the item back to our warehouse.
Where an item is faulty we would advise customers to phone us directly so our technicians can guide them through some simple troubleshooting steps. When returning items can you please enclose a covering letter stating your full details including order number, a daytime contact number and the reason for return.
This a process which is used by the manufacturers to make most of the ride on cars that we sell, the process involves blowing sheets of plastic with hot air to make the moulds required for the production of the car. Sometimes the moulds can have minor scuffs or very small scratches caused by material flowing in the air as the plastic is very hot this can mark the body of the car. This does NOT cause any materiasltic flaws within the body and does not affect the strength or durability of the body. They are just minor cosmetic flaws and usually only affect one in ten items we sell. Toys2Ride will not accept any returns back due to this and this no reason to claim the item as faulty.
Batteries
Please note that Toys2Ride only offer 30 days warranty for the batteries that are provided with any items sold. In every sale the item is checked by our staff prior to despatch and the battery is fully tested. If in a situation the item becomes un-useable due to a faulty battery then the customer will be liable for Courier charge incurred to get the replacement battery out. Toys2Ride will provide the battery free of charge but the shipping charge must be met by the customer. This is providing that the battery is within the warranty period. After Warrenty period, the customer is liable to pay for the battery and shipping cost.
Packaging
Please note that in the event of the customer returning the goods, please try to return it in the original packaging sent with the item. If you do not have original packaging, please use adequate packaging. We advise that if there are storage problems due to the size of the box - you flat pack it and store it safely. The consumers owe a duty of care to look after the goods while they are in their possession and also to ensure that the goods are adequately packed for transit return
Damage in Transit
We appreciate due to the size and shape of the boxes we send to you, they may be vulnerable to damage in transit by the couriers. If this happens to your item then you must report this within 7 days of you recieving the item. So it leaves enough time for our staff to claim on the couriers insurance. If the item is not repaired by sending replacement parts then we will replace the entire item at our discretion.
Shipping and Handling: We charge Postage and Packing based on order value and weight of the parcel for delivery in UK mainland. We also deliver to Other offshore areas such as N Irland, S Irland, Scottish Highlands and Other Channel Islands at an additional charge of £19.00 (nineteen pounds).
Delivery Schedules: All goods are delivered via our courier partner namely DPD and Interlink Express and usually delivered to your address within 2 to 3 working days. If you would prefer next day delivery than this can be arranged, please e-mail us for our current prices for this service.
Delays in Delivery: In the event of the delay in delivery, please note that Toys2Ride could not be liable for the courier's fault. No refund is allowed where the courier company has failed to deliver the item on a particular service. For example an item delivered through 24 hour service and the customer not receiving the item in the given time due to delay by the courier company.
Failed Delivery: If a courier company has tried to deliver the parcel but have not found anyone to take the delivery, the driver will leave the failed delivery card through the letterbox then it will become the customer’s responsibility to re-arrange the delivery with courier company. The parcel will be held at the local depot for 5 days then it will come back to us. In this event, it will be customer's responsibility to pay for failed and re-delivery charge incurred.

If you are not completely delighted with our products and it is still within the vechicle's warranty period, you can return it us and we will either offer you a exchange or refund your money. Please note: if you are returning the item due to the damage or faults, we will refund you inc postage, however if you are returning for any other reason, we will deduct the postage from the total price. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you purchase a new ride on car from Toys2Ride, you can return your old ride on car back to us for us to deal with. This offer is only valid for 28 days after the date of purchase of the new vehicle and coverage of any costs for postage and packaging of the returned vehicle are your responsibility.
To remind you that old electrical equipment can be recycled, it is now marked with a crossed-out wheeled bin symbol. Please do not throw any electrical equipment (including those marked with the crossed out wheeled bin symbol) in your bin.
What is WEEE?
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items. In the UK, distributors (including retailers) must provide a system which allows all customers buying new electrical equipment the opportunity to recycle their old items free of charge. Those establishing their own take-back scheme must as a minimum offer all customers buying new electrical equipment free take back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis.
